{Santa Barbara Portrait Photography} Thank You 2011

Goodness, to be honest I got extremely teary looking over images for this post. I know it’s cliche to say but I feel so blessed to have captured the faces of all my wonderful clients in the past year. My business really took off in 2011 and I have all of you to thank, I couldn’t have done it without you. I had such a blast getting to know you, hearing your stories, and for many- watching your children grow and change. As a thank you, not only will I be offering return clients in 2012 $50 off their session fee, I will be hosting a little contest on my Facebook page- a chance for you to win a free session, including ALL your digital files! {Santa Barbara Family Photographer} Plus One

I was so happy to finish up my season of holiday photo sessions with this special family! Mama and I have known each other since we were 5 in kindergarten, the same age my son is now. It’s now a joy to see her own family grow, last time I photographed them they were four- with the addition of a new baby comes another reason for an updated family shot, and for that I am glad. This session was so fun, the colors were perfect, and it was yet another beautiful Santa Barbara evening. Oh and those three kiddos aren’t hard on the eyes, right? ;-) Thank you H Family!! XOXOX





{Extended Family Photo Session} Lucky 13

What a fun session I have to share with you! Members from this big family came from all over including New York and Colorado for Thanksgiving so they decided to throw in a photo session in their hometown of Santa Barbara, and I’m glad they did- it was a blast capturing all the personalities of this group :-) And even in the midst of Winter, the Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens was as beautiful as always, a perfect backdrop for this lovely family!





{Santa Barbara Maternity Photographer} A Sweet Surprise

This family of three-to-be wanted to include their two original “babies” in their maternity session and it couldn’t have been more fun! We had a perfect Fall sunset at the beautiful Carpinteria beach and Moose and Willy had a blast running and playing in the surf. They are waiting to find out the sex of this little bundle of joy, so I can’t wait for their newborn session after Christmas to find out! ;-) Thank you Kim and Tim for the wonderful afternoon!





{Holiday Family Photos} On the Farm with the S Family

Another amazing afternoon on the blueberry farm for a holiday session! Not only was this family adorable- do the outfits get any better!?? Perfection! Mom is so crafty, making her own crochet props, it’s no wonder her darling kids were adorned with the best duds for a family photo session, right down to the handmade felt flower in little K’s hair. Thank you S family for a fun afternoon on the ranch! :-)
