{Santa Barbara Portrait Photography} Thank You 2011

Goodness, to be honest I got extremely teary looking over images for this post. I know it’s cliche to say but I feel so blessed to have captured the faces of all my wonderful clients in the past year. My business really took off in 2011 and I have all of you to thank, I couldn’t have done it without you. I had such a blast getting to know you, hearing your stories, and for many- watching your children grow and change. As a thank you, not only will I be offering return clients in 2012 $50 off their session fee, I will be hosting a little contest on my Facebook page- a chance for you to win a free session, including ALL your digital files! {My Project 10} Christmas Edition

Every month I participate in a photography project with nine other ladies from around the globe. We post 10 photos from a “day in the life” on the tenth of the month. This is my holiday edition and probably my favorite Project 10 so far. I’ve been blessed with wonderful business and clients this past year- so much that most of the time I forget to slow down and capture my own family, and things that I love. For this month’s Project 10 I chose to document our Christmas decorating day with a trip to Lane Farms for a tree and some fresh veggies, home for dinner, a couple pumpkin spice martinis, a little Pandora holiday station, and a whole lotta tree trimming (which you can tell from the overloaded Noble)
I also love this addition because I had a little artistic fun with these photos, thank you to Florabella and Jessica Drossin for the textures on all ten images

{Santa Barbara Family Photographer} Plus One

I was so happy to finish up my season of holiday photo sessions with this special family! Mama and I have known each other since we were 5 in kindergarten, the same age my son is now. It’s now a joy to see her own family grow, last time I photographed them they were four- with the addition of a new baby comes another reason for an updated family shot, and for that I am glad. This session was so fun, the colors were perfect, and it was yet another beautiful Santa Barbara evening. Oh and those three kiddos aren’t hard on the eyes, right? Thank you H Family!! XOXOX

{California Family Photos} J Family

I was so excited when fellow photographer Alli Jacobs contacted me about doing their family photos. We had met previously during a Bloom forum meetup I threw here in Santa Barbara last Spring, and Alli is just as sweet as can be- I knew her family would be the same
We had such a good time during this session- they were up for anything so we did a bit of exploring of downtown Santa Barbara, covering the Urban Wine Trail and lastly, the beautiful sunset of East Beach and the wharf. Thank you J Family for coming all the way from Laguna Niguel for your session, it was a blast! (and your little man is pretty dang cute too)

{Santa Barbara Baby Photos} Three Times the Fun

Imagine the fun in this house! I mean chaos.. I mean fun. Since this family of five gets asked a million questions every time they go out in public, I thought I would enlighten a few viewers for them. Yes, they are triplets. Yes they are all boys. Yes two are identical. And yes they are cute as a button.
