{Santa Barbara Lifestyle Photographer} The Yummy Family

Ahhhh, Santa Barbara just seems to have a plethora of gorgeous families for me to be lucky enough to photograph this year! The Mommy in this sweet fam of four is a blogger herself- she writes a wonderful food blog called The Yummy Mummy, you really must click over and check it out- a feast for the eyes as well as the tummy, even her Pumpkin Macarons were just featured on the Martha Stewart show! how cool is that?!
I just love when clients want to have their session in their own home, it’s a perfect opportunity to not only to be somewhere that is totally you- the little ones always seem to be much more comfortable in surroundings they are familiar with. These two cuties had the most beautiful chicken filled yard (with perfect light as well ;-)) where they were able to run and play. Thank you D Family for the fun afternoon! XOXOX

{Family Photo Session} Bela Família

This darling family was here visiting Santa Barbara all the way from the east coast. They are originally from Brazil, but their careers with the Salvation Army took them first to Mozambique, Africa, then Massachusetts soon-to-be New York, where they will begin their 2 year formal academic training to become Christian Pastors. How amazing, right? Massachusetts I believe holds a special place in their hearts, since that’s where they arrived a family of 2, and are leaving a family of 3 :-) And if what they say about all Brazilian girls being beautiful is true- little “J” sure does have a good start, doesn’t she??

{Santa Barbara Park and Beach Photo Session} Little Mr. D

So happy to share some tidbits from this session- I wanted to put this little peanut in my camera bag and sneak him home, he was just full of cuteness! His Mom and Dad had requested some photos at both a park and a beach setting, and with Summer in full swing I was happy to oblige. Part one took place at one of my favorite childhood parks (and just happened to be where they got married! how perfect is that?), and part two at our gorgeous Santa Barbara seaside. And little D was a champ the whole way through, never complained once, just kept flashing that toothless grin. :-)
