{Santa Barbara Senior Photos} Sjors
I just love senior sessions! This one was so fun, with perfect afternoon weather, and a very sweet willing model, Sjors (pronounced shores). Is that not the coolest name ever? Of course we appropriately had to visit our own Santa Barbara shores for part of this session, not without first tromping through the amazing Coronado Butterfly Preserve. Sjors is an avid water polo player, continuing his sport with the Gauchos at UCSB next year!
Please leave him some BLOG LOVE, 25 comments gets him a $25 print credit!

{Life Photography} Miss G
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing a very special threesome again- some may remember their session I did last year, well I was honored they invited me back into their home for another year of family portraits. Miss G is a natural behind the camera, and always is so fashionably dressed, (check out the ruby slippers) I looked forward to this session all week! She did not disappoint

My Project 10 {September}
Well it’s the 10th of September so that means it’s time for another installment of My Project 10. If you missed it in August, it’s a monthly project I’m doing with 9 other amazing photographers from around the world, documenting life as it happens, 10 shots at a time.
One reason I was excited to participate in this group was I knew it would challenge me to get out there and shoot those sweet moments that sometimes quickly pass us by, but also allow me the freedom to do it creatively. I knew for this month I wanted to shoot all ten images with my Lensbaby Composer, a toy I have had for a while but really hadn’t gotten the chance to play with much. I really forced myself to use it for the whole day of shooting, and now I feel I am much more comfortable with it (they are manual focus and can be a little tricky!)
So this is our day- a trip to the beach, hanging around at home, and a walk to Z’s school for a BBQ
Next please head over and visit the fabulous Andrea Linn to see what she is sharing, I know it will be awesome!
