Project 52 {Week 23} Home
I’ve been missing from our 52 week project for a bit (out for vacation) but back this week for the theme of Home. Nothing like a family vacation makes you appreciate your own walls
So here I share a few scenes from everyday life in our humble abode, with a (almost) willing four year old subject… okay not so willing lol
Make sure you do the “Home” rounds, starting with the fabulous Misty of Misty Setzler Photography, a Lubbock, TX Photographer
Love seeing everyone’s interpretation of the theme!

{Santa Barbara Photography} Flutter
“We are like butterflies who flutter for a day and think its forever.” ~Carl Sagan
(a trip to butterflies alive at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History)

{New Hampshire Photography} Vacation Time
“Using a camera appeases the anxiety which the work-driven feel about not working when they are on vacation and supposed to be having fun. They have something to do that is like a friendly imitation of work: they can take pictures.” ~ Susan Sontag
It had been almost two years since we had gone back east for a visit to my husband’s small town of Gilford, New Hampshire, so we decided to make a vacation out of it, staying in a cute rustic cabin right on the beautiful (and HUGE!) Lake Winnipesaukee. We even lucked out and had mostly great, warm weather for the duration of our stay
Some of the highlights of the trip include our son running the bases of his Daddy’s high school baseball field, swims in the lake, roasting marshmallows at night, Z meeting his one and only cousin for the first time, the glorious sunsets, and the food.. oh my if you have never had a lobster roll you don’t know what you’re missing. Hope you enjoy a few visions of our trip
