Project 52 {Week 9} DOF
This week for the 52 project the theme is “DOF”, or depth of field. So I am demonstrating a very small DOF, which creates great bokeh. For all you non-photogs out there, bokeh is the subjective aesthetic quality of the out of focus area of an image. Bokeh can be described as circular, dreamy, painterly, creamy, and I have even referred to it as juicy.
I am a bokeh lover for sure, so this week it was hard to decide on just one bokelicious image to share- so here you have the Z’s the Day Bokehlection~ (I just made up that word, bokeh+collection, get it???.. oh never mind)
If you haven’t heard already, I am participating in a themed 52 week challenge with 20 or so other amazing photographers from around the world. We all do this over at the Bloom Forum. Next in the DOF circle this week, is the fabulous Jobrina Hofleit, a Goodyear, AZ photographer. She does such gorgeous work, click it! then the next, then the next.. pretty please? and if you love what you see- we adore comments ;-)

OMG Jen, I don’t think I could pick a favorite if I had to. These are all gorgeous and the bokeh rocks. OK top right is maybe my fave b/c it has a bird in it. lol. Then the rosebuds, then the purple in the bottom left… LOVE. All of them. LOVE.
Look at you, you little over-achiever. Did you really take all of these this week? Girl, I don’t know how you do it! I was going to tell you how awesome your HUE-MON-GUS! giveaway was. I looked at all of them and my draw just dropped. Too bad I didn’t have time to go through and like them all, but you are a rock star. I love all your dof images. Did you use florabella on some of them. They are really pretty. {end novella} ;)
