{Santa Barbara Photographer} All about pets! {I Heart Faces}
Today at I Heart Faces the theme is Pets! This is our little monster, I mean new kitten Clint, (named after the actor) that we adopted 6 weeks ago :-) Here he is during his first trip in the big outside world, which he promptly climbed this tree and of course couldn’t get down! don’t you just love that innocent look on his face, yeah right! lol Make sure you check out the other entries this week, as I’m sure there are going to be some super cute ones..

{Santa Barbara Event Photographer} Ice Cream Social
I had the pleasure of photographing this fabulous kid’s ice cream social in Santa Barbara with the likes of Tracy from Lazaro Design(invites, cards, stickers and more!) and Cari from Santa Barbara Gift Baskets(decor, ice cream social kit, swag and more!)
It was so much fun, and the gals made sure I had an awesome vintage styled party to shoot :-) And like a cherry on top, we are featured over at Tomkat Studio!
To throw your own ice cream social, check out the kits here or view more of Tracy’s beautiful designs here

{Santa Barbara Senior Photographer} Play {I Heart Faces}
When I saw that the theme this week at I Heart Faces was “play”, I immediately thought of this shoot I did with a lovely young local musician. I had a whole vision for this session planned out in my head, and was so happy when it came to fruition. An open meadow+golden hour light+a beauty and her guitar=BLISS! Make sure you go see the other submissions, I’m sure there are many wonderful ones this week! :-)

{Santa Barbara Photographer} Magnificent Macro
I love myself a good macro shot. When I was first learning all about photography, I spent much of my days photographing inanimate objects that would hold still for me, before moving up to portrait photography. When I bought my macro lens it was love at first shot (well, maybe not first shot, macro lenses do have a bit of a learning curve) lol it’s amazing the tiny little world you can discover in a good close-up photo. Here are a few of my favorites…
