{Santa Barbara Photography} Santa Barbara Fair
So we decided this year to take the Z man to the Santa Barbara Fair- kinda hard to tell a three year old no, when every time we drive by it he yells FERRIS WHEEL!!!
I don’t think I had been since I was in high school- pretty much nothing had changed! I think we ate our way through it though- corn dog (the best I’ve ever had), snow cone, tri-tip sandwich, (my first) 18 lb. turkey leg, caramel apple… and $68 dollars later, tummy aches all around. Oh and my brave husband, not only going on one of those vomit inducing rides, he actually got stuck on it! lol yes, the bars that come down around your shoulders got jammed and he was stuck there for 20 minutes, good times
Overall, a fun way to spend a Friday afternoon, some highlights of the day-

{Santa Barbara Family Photographer} Smiles {I Heart Faces}
This week on I heart faces the challenge is “Smiles” see some smiles here. This is one of my favorite family shots, with a variety of smiles- the proud smile, the hamming it up smile, and the geez I wish I was home watching the game smile lol (Sorry V)
You can tell this family likes to have fun together!

{Santa Barbara Photographer} Why choose custom photography?
I can’t believe it’s been a week since my last post, I better get to it!
Everyone always asks why they should spend big bucks on custom portrait photography. The answer is simple, this is a work of art you will be displaying on your walls for many years to come, a memory to enjoy long after most other material items in your life have faded away. Yes it is an investment, but one you will never regret! One of the things I take pride in is the way your beautiful photographs are packaged and delivered, I want to give you the ultimate boutique experience down to the last detail. I share with you the official Z’s the day branding- this is how you can expect your investment to arrive
If you are interested in receiving a Session Information packet send me an email at jennifer@zsthedaydesigns.com

I’m also happy to report some exciting things will be happening with Z’s the day in the next months- one being a fun collaboration with two uber talented gals and successful Santa Barbara business owners, Tracy from Lazaro Design see her gorgeous invitations here! and Cari of Santa Barbara gift baskets need something fabulous? we’re not talking strange cheese-food and bad wine in these amazing creations!
Keep your eyes open for a super fun project from us
{Santa Barbara Child Photographer} I Heart Faces Collage
Yes it’s time for another weekly i heart faces contest- this week being collages! my favorite way to showcase the best images from a shoot or event. This sweet baby girl had a rough entry into the world, coming way, way earlier than Mom and Dad would have liked, and spending a bit of time in the NICU. And now here she is celebrating her first birthday, at her luau inspired party at a picture perfect Santa Barbara beach..looking like a movie start to boot! Here’s to you, precious RR
